The Log Cabin

The Log Cabin is a creative collective started by tattoo artist Liam Alvy and his fiancée and illustrator Bozena Grygoriew. I have known the two of them for quite a while now, and after both working along side Bozena, getting multiple tattoos from Liam, and going on holidays with the two of them, I feel I have got to know the real people behind The Log Cabin.

I don’t think I have ever met a more hard working and focused couple before, with both their flat, and work spaces filled with illustrations, paintings and prints, they even got rid of their TV in order to concentrate more on their work. I don’t like saying this, but they also happen to be two of the most effortlessly cool people I know. With Liam previously been a buyer for the Hip store in Leeds, and Bozena previously working for both Vivian Westwood and American Apparel, they seem to have style running through them. Even they’re recent engagement consisted of getting matching gold skull rings from The Great Frog and getting tattooed by Mark Cross

With big plans coming up, such as working in Barcelona and London, raising their new Scottish Fold kitten Nacho, and planning their wedding, 2014 seems like it’s going to be a good year for the couple, and I for one am happy to know such a hard working, motivating and inspirational couple.

Liam is currently tattooing at Nostalgia Tattoo in Leeds, and both his and Bozena’s work can be bought over on their etsy account.
