Converse CONS have released an exclusive four-way ‘Breakpoint’ collection in collaboration with Europe’s most revered trainer stores – London’s FOOTPATROL, Amsterdam’s Patta, Solebox from Berlin and Paris’ Starcow.
The collection is indicative of each stores local culture, and the Breakpoint silhouette is the perfect blank canvas for each store to add their individual creative twist.
With each pair comes an accompanying zine, a different one per city, that features artists selected by the store to contribute pages – in turn creating a beautifully presented snapshot of the culture and art surrounding each store.
Breaks took the time to visit four of the artists featured in the London edition of the zine, to try and find out more about them and what it is about London that influences their art. We spoke to digital artists Tim Rowe and Justina Bailey, LA ex-pat and cat lover Bob Motown and photographer Sam Travis, taking a walk round their local area and exploring their work.
Watch the film and take a closer look at the sneakers below.
The sneakers are available from FOOTPATROL tomorrow instore and online: http://www.footpatrol.co.uk/
